Wow – did we have some serious fun at our Rainbow Activity Day on Friday 30th July! Enormous thanks to our dynamic year 7 administrators, who took complete charge of the day and who worked so hard to make it the success it was. Thanks to the 4 Rainbow teams – Possums, Cockies, Frogs and Moths. Each team had their activity planned with precision and our only hiccup seemed to be when they forgot to bring a round ball for Bootball. I think that in hindsight, a football makes a perfect alternative to a round ball anyway, and from here on in, we will use a footy for the game. The leadership shown by all students today was amazing. Thanks also to the students who participated with such enthusiasm and gusto. The day was a huge, huge success based solely on the level of leadership and enthusiastic participation of the 6/7 students. Well done – You are amazing!
On a sad note, we farewelled Tiarnie - who along with her family, is leaving the district. In farewelling Tiarnie, we are losing our year 6 school captain and a Rainbow Team leader. We are also farewelling a bubbly, enthusiastic, creative, fun loving friend. Good luck at your new school Tiarnie and Mitchell and hope the move is all your family is hoping for.
